Hi, Im looking to buy a used Ford ka from a garage but someone said I should go to a garage that only deals with one particular make rather than a garage that deals with all makes, as they say service is better. What do you think? Also, I would prefer a ka in the year 2000's but as money is tight I might have to go for late 90's. Has anyone got any experience of them in terms of reliablity. Thanks in advance.
Don't go to any dealer at all! why do you want to pay their wages? You'll get much more for your money at a BCA auction. They will have loads of the car you want and they will be at cost, ie what the dealers pay, that's where they buy their stock. It's a bit daunting at first but just go and watch what happens, get a catalogue and observe, note prices.
hiya
i agree with loosehead why pay over the odds at a dealer when with a bit of time and effort you can pick up a good car by trawling through the local autotrader or internet.Ka are fairly popular but the basic ones are just that ..basic.Aim for a later model as they have better trim and the later engine .
hi,i have a ford ka3,and im selling mine on a s reg for 1200.i think you would be better buying private ,not a dealer or auctions.if you do go to a auction or buy private make sure you take someone who knows about cars it will save you alot of time and money.i have priced mine in a garage and same model is going for around 1900 upwards so it shows the difference.my ka has been pretty good just get one with plenty of service history,i hope this helps .
