Ford Fiesta Remote Key
My Ford Fiesta remote key has stopped working (it's the three button one which controls door locking, boot opening and alarm ). The key still works manually and locks / unlocks and starts the car ok. I have changed the battery in the key but still no joy. Anyone got any ideas on what to try next ?

So give this a go... Get into you car, put key in ignition and turn until the ignition lights come on dashboard - but do not start the engine. Then press each button on your key fob while the keys are still in the ignition. Each function should then perform as the remote is re-calibrated to each function by the trasnmitter in the car. As I say this works for the vauxhalls so might be worth a go!
you will have to re programme the remote if the batteries have been removed for 25 seconds or so .Put the key in the ingnition and turn back and forwrds to the first position on the lock five times .Then you will hear a small chime remove key and press and hold the boot release then boot opens (hopefully) insert key in lock and turn to postion two to complete.
