freelander

I want to buy a land rover freelander. now a garage up the road got r registered ones for 3 grand. now i aint got a clue how much the parts,wheels, or how much on petrol they are.ive have test drove a diesel and a petrol and the petrol is definatly a better drive.
are they worth the dosh or should i stick with me vauxhall vectra?

my mate has got an 02 freelander with the petrol engine,i dont know the size of the engine sorry, but we were talking last saturday about......

him and his GF have just had a baby, the freelander is no longer big enough for them and it only has 2 doors, he also said the MPG was dismal,he is going to be selling it soon to get something less costly!
