My 97 Fiesta has been broken into. They crowbarred the top of the passenger side door and bent it outwards, then unlocked it from the inside and nicked the JVC CD / radio fascia. I've reported it to the police and forensics are coming to look at it tomorrow. The lock is OK, it's just the top of the door that is bent and of course the electric window is knackered. Roughly how much will it cost me to fix, and is it a world of pain if I do it on my insurance? Thanks.

I think the cheapest way would be to replace the door with one from a breakers yard and since it is a popular model of car you may be lucky and find one in the correct colour.

If you go through your insurers, your premiums will rise not to mention any excess you may have to pay.
