Do speed cameras have to be yellow?
Got flashed speeding (guilty) but the camera that flashed me was grey, not bright yellow.
I have a dim recollection that the cameras HAVE to be yellow... does anyone know?

Stricter rules on camera visibility in "netting off" or Safety Camera Partnership Schemes were applied from June 2002. The high visibility yellow colouring of Safety Cameras makes the Partnership eligible to reclaim operational expenses but exemptions can be made where it is deemed that yellow colouring is not suitable for some site locations.
