HI THERE MATE , me personly would get new filter , about 10 , if doesnt work get ( diesel leek) from halfords or motor world , does work have used daz....
Is it coming from the pulley end seal where the shaft comes out of the pump body? That's the normal place for them to leak.

This is a Peugeot Citroen XUD engine, and will have either a Bosh or Lucas pump.

These are extremely common, and any Diesel specialist, Bosch or Lucas centre, etc, will have an end seal and they are easy to change once you have the pulley off- the main difficulty is retiming the pump afterwards. You basically need a dial test indicator to do this- the procedure is covered in the Haynes Citroen diesel engine manual.
