i have a renault clio 2004 reg. it has developed a groaning noise when turning right & straightening back up. any ideas as to the cause? thanks ...

have you topped up the power steering fluid?

yes i have looked at all the obvious the wheel bearing seem good and there is no play like wise the cv joints
the noise is noticable when driving in a straight line worse when turning right and none existing when turning left
will probably take the route with the most left turns when doing my xmas shopping???

i dont think there is a reservoir, that i can see i thought it must be the elecricaly assisted whatever that means
if someome can educate me it would be appreciated
