the nearside rear side light doesnt work on my punto i have tried changing the bulb but it still wont work any other ideas wot it could be?

Clean the contacts on socket and bulb with wire wool or similar, and try the bulb again.

Might also be worth trying another bulb. If your replacement has been rolling around in your boot for a while, it might not work.

check that its earthed properly

buy a new bulb - only �2 in a BP garage or Halfords. If not then it might be a loose connection
