my 02 corsa sxi is making a slight noise. it seems to be when i steer to the right ( as in going round corner ). it sounds like a knocking sound. what could this be and will it be expensive for a new part ?

Sounds like nearside outer CV joint is worn - under 100 supplied and fitted.

thank you both......i have breakdown cover !! just hope i dont need to use it !!
You will probably find that the outer gaiter is torn - that allows grit into the joint which wrecks it. You can drive it ok for a while until you get it sorted as long as it is not extremely noisy.
