steve, ask these questions to the dealer when you pick the car up.

AMK code is done at 75k miles
all others are done at 112k miles

cambelt replacement time is 2.2 hours

your service time is 1.3 hours for the 30k service

six
It will say in the service history when it needs doing or if it's been done (highly unlikely)

hi
it has not been done, only 29k miles on clock, its only the years I am unsure about?
Lee - what is the 6 for? does that mean 6 years before it needs changing
Thanks

I have had the cam belt and water pump done today, 330, least its sorted thats main thing, I know they use to write on top of cover of belt when was changed, do they not do that anymore?
thanks
I have recently changed the cam belt on my Audi. A3 with an AGN angine code and 123,000 on the clock, 13 years old. I bought it second hand and I realised when I looked through the service history that it had not been done since 44,000miles. I dont know why they did it then, probably due to age. (5/6 years old)
I did the job myself and only had to pay for the parts. It was easy enough but I now have an issue with the tensioner. I believe that it is due to a fault hydraulic tensioner. Anyone got any information on the matter?
By the way, my replacement cambelt kit came with a sticker to put on the outer top cover saying the milage and date of the new belt.
Hope I have helped and maybe someone can help me?
