Tried to fit a new set of glowplugs on my dads 1998 Scenic 1.9 DTi today. 3 Of them went in fine but the one behind the fuel pump of the cambelt end is proving to be a bit of a pig to get at. Is there a special tool available anywhere or should I have to take any other parts off to get better access to it?

never done a renault, but be very careful,if it snaps your in trouble,so just take it easy,if its better to remove parts to get at it,then do so,better be safe then sorry.
TD Xantias have the same problem- so the normal 'fix' is replace the three that are easy to get at and just leave the one behind the pump!!

I'm not sure about the scenic, but Xantias will easily start as long as 3 plugs are working.
