Has anyone heard of problems with these cars in wet weather? A friend of mine is desperate to get her car going......all started after going through a car wash and started to miss/ stall after, if garaged is ok, but out in rain and wont go. has been to garage and had the crank sensor (AA said playing up on diagnostic) leads, ecu. the bill so far is nearly �1000 and still no wiser.

you could try taking this car to an established auto electician or try www.boschautomotive.co.uk find a nearby bosch service station, these have diagnostic equipment that is more advanced than the AA vans on the road or perhaps point out to your existing garage that you pay them for their skills, not to change everything on the car that MAY be faulty, you are infact paying to fix an exact fault if they cant find the fault they shouldnt be messing with the car.
