Traffic Information on Satnav

Does anyone use the AA traffic info that comes with their satnav. Although I have connected it with an external aerial it fails to report any holdups on the route. In fact I was caught up in a major holdup on the M25 recently without any warning given. Is it me or the package?

The holdups are not reported in real time but I would expect to have been given more information. Anyone who has used traffic master (ie those blue cameras on stalks and also underground sensors) will know that the system is great for letting you know a few miles in advance where the holdup is and how long you may be held up for.
