How much would it cost me?

I have an 03 Pontiac Grand Am GT, and while driving from gym to work, which is less than 2 miles, the SERVICE CAR SOON light lit up. Does anybody know how much does it usually cost to have that kind of service done and what exactly do they do?

Probably best to do a bit of homework on running costs and parts availability before taking on a beast like that.

However, a service would be pretty much the same as other cars. I minor service would include oil and filter change plus fluid level and brake checks. A more major service would include oil and filter change plus air filter/plugs/fuel filter.

Worth checking for somewhere local to you that can source the parts needed.
