What happens if you have booked a practical driving test and turn up for the test and are turned away as the test centre does not have enough examiners? Any advice, it has just happened!

I would suggest that you contact the DSA.

Tel: 0870 01 01 372

or using this contact information...

http://www.dsa.gov.uk/tests/tests_E/pt/contact s.asp?test=pt
They will send you another time and date, for the test at the earlyest time they can, but you may not get much notice
i.e: possibly as short as 2 or3 days
Providing the test was cancelled due to examiner absence and not bad weather, you can claim certain "out of pocket expenses" Contact DSA customer service unit and ask for a compensation form or, you can download one from the DSA site.
A new appointment will be given free of charge.
