Tesco fiasco

I am about to collect my car today after having all the work put right from the Tesco petrol, there are 4 seperate bills and the total is about �800.
What do I do next, Tesco has said they will pay, so how do you go about it ?
I have registered with my insurers Saga that there is a big problem just in case I get left with the bill , if I proceed with Saga I have to pay the first �200 of the claim, why should I have to ? can anyone advise me as what I should do next please.

take your bills from the garage,to tescos garage,where you bought the petrol,with the receipt for the petrol,if you dont have the receipt for the petrol,they wont pay out.if you have all the bills,they will give you a form to fill out,post that to them with your bills and they will send you a cheque.you dont have to involve your insurance company in this at all,its nothing to do with them.

norman, am i right in thinking that if you didn't ask for a receipt when you bought your fuel (or just binned it ) that tescos won't pay up ??

I dont have the receipt but I paid by debit card and the transaction is on my bank statement, so I am presuming they cannot dispute this ?

yes,thats fine,as long as you can prove you bought the petrol at their garage

you have to prove you bought the petrol from them,receipt,bank statement,credit card bill etc,no proof,no payout.

ps I shall photo copy the lot before posting registered, dont want another mishap with Tesco saying they have not recieved.

and by the way,dont take any notice of curly perm,shes been after my bonio for weeks now.
