tyre sizes

can i swop 205-50-r16 tyres of a 2002 mondeo zetec and 195-60-r15 tyres of a 2000 mondeo ghia i have the chance to change tyres of the ghia as they are only 6monthes old.would it have an adverse effect on both cars if swapped over.

you cant change the tyres over as neither will fit the other wheels,you will have to change over the whole wheels.they will be fine on either car

thanks for your answer i meant swopping wheels complete with tyres.perhaps i should have worded it differentley. so i should be alright to do this.once again thanks for your help

You can't swap mk2 and mk3 as they have a different number if bolts.

If they are both from a mk3 then you are OK
