I've noticed a fairly loud tapping sound coming from the front passenger wheel of my girlfriends peugeot 106 ( I normally sit in the passenger seat which might be the reason I hear it from that side). The tapping gets louder as the car is going faster. Haven't heard it while stationary though. Any ideas what it could be? She has to do a long drive this week too. Any help would be much appreciated.

It could be something as harmless as a stone in the tread of the tyre, best to get it checked at a garage if she's going on a long run.
Or a cheap wheel trim creaking as the wheel turns. I used to have this on a Peugeot with a wheel trim that gripped with metal claws
