Well according to the mini teash`s it stand for
Black Mans Willy (ah kids and the stuff they come out with) :)

don't I know it ! I';ve got a 525.
A couple of years ago, my daughter (5 at the time) came in and asked, " Daddy, what does black man's willy mean ?"
She explained that the other children she had been playing with had said that was what my car was.
Try explaining that to a five year old !

And the BMW symbol, the blue and white quads of a circle represent the propellers of an aircraft as a lot of car companies derived from Aircraft manufacturers the same goes for Mercedes and their badge
