MK3 Fiesta 1.8D - no power!
The cam belt recently snapped on my fiesta. i have fitted a new cylinder head and cam belt kit. The engine runs but when i took it for a drive it was dramatically down on power
Is this a timing/fuelling problem?
Is there anything i can check before sending it to the local garage?

That's the point, davros states that he's fitted a kit, by that I assumed he'd fitted the timing belt and the pump belt.
If the pump belt isn't set up right by pegging it and slackening the three bolts on the pump sprocket to get the right tension it will run, but run badly. It's very easy to set up the pump wrong if you've not had much experience of this set up.
