Vauxhall Vectra problems

Hi,
Just brought S reg 1.8 vectra has a few problems !
First one is the Air conditioning is not working, I checked it with a gauge and it was very high, about 100 PSI well into the red on the gauge from Halfords
I didnt put any gas in as the tin says not to any ideas what is causing this ?
IE no cold air
Also the imobaliser sometimes plays silly, when you stop the car and leave the keys in and try to restart it you have to get out, lock the doors and wait for about 10 mins, then open and it starts first time, it has remote control locking, but even with the key it sometimes dont start we are worried because if it happens at traffic lights we will be stuck if it stalls

The cans from Halfords don't work with all cars, it's not the pressure that matters it's the amount of refrigerant in the system.

A/C sometimes fails in older cars for many reasons.
