Vectra Problems

Hope someone can help. Vauxhall Vectra 1800LS 2000 (V Reg) recently started to judder and loss of power when pulling away from islands etc. Also there is a misfire every so often whilst driving. Recently had a full service and also diagnostics test done but no fault is showing. I have been told it could need a new carburettor. Any suggestions.

When was the car last serviced? check your HT leads, Poss a plug down, have you been inside the bonnet lately? if so you may have knocked a lead off. there are many other things to look at after these points.
