1994 vauxhall cavalier expression

it is a great runner but the bonnet cable assembly has broken off inside the car on the right hand side beneath the steering wheel on the side of the car how can i open the bonnet from the outside thanks

Sounds like a death trap to me...get rid. Probarbly riddled with flea's too....

without causing damage you cant open it from the outside,try putting some very tight mole grips on the end of the cable inside the car and pull,other then that,try the local garage.
