fiat where heater turns on lights.

One of my friends have a 52 plate fiat maybe punto but is a 3 door. When they turn the heater on his side lights come on. he fitted a new radio a few months ago and this fault has just occured. Can anyone help. We took the radio out but it still happens.

If it is the oxygen sensor, that sounds about right. It is a little spark plug looking thing that sticks in the side of the cat. Does that sound about right?

Sounds like an earth fault but gawd knows where. The fitting of the radio is probably coincidental

Check the earth terminal on the battery, make sure it is clean and tight
