van broke down on motorway 70 mph engine will not start dealship telling me fault is glow plugs +relay faulty can this be right

Surely glow plugs only operate when starting. They couldn't cause a motorway breakdown, could they?

the mechanic whos lokked at your vehicle cant get it started ,thats why he says glow plugs and relay , hes tryin to cover himself . when hes done that hell find some other problem. sounds like hes not very good. ask them to get somebody on it who knows what theyre doing
