Hi all

I have a Renault Megane, and some times when i am driving, and put it in neutral, the rpm stays about 200rpm, is there any way i can reduce this?

I think you would have to RAISE it to about 450/500 rpm not reduce it.
At 200 revs per min. the engine would cut out.

Sorry, i think i got it wrong then, its idling at about 2000rpm's. but not all the time!
You do realise it is dangerous and against the rules of the Highway Code to be in neutral while driving, don't you?

Dear Tonybeeeeee, i am of course in neutral when stationary, at lights etc, which is the correct way to drive, thank you for your concern though.
