Hi, can anyone help I took the battery out of my clio because it was flat and replaced it with my sisters car which is also a clio now both cd players dont work in either car, when you turn the ignition on a 4 digit code needs to be entered which i dont have does anybody now where i can get the codes from to work again? Could there be another way of getting them to work because they were both woking fine until i disconnected the batteries?

Failing that see if you can sweet-talk a local dealer to give you the code for free

Failing that scour the internet to find out what make and model the stereo *really* is (renault will probably just buy a unit from a stereo manufacturer and tell everyone its theirs) and see if someone's listed codes for it somewhere online.

Failing that buy a code from either the dealer or one of the websites who sell them
As above, search all docs, ie the drivers handbooks, the code might be handwritten in there somewhere.

Thanks for your answer, ive tried all that you mentioned but no joy?
You will need to get the code done by an car audio shop it will cost between �10-20 pounds... then keep the code safe.
have tried taking the stereo out sometimes the code is on top or back. you should be able to reomve by using metal coat hanger bend them up and push in to the 4 holes on front of stereo
