i have a ford mondeo 1996 battery good new starter but still does not start ignition light on its not turning the engine advice

Bad connection on the starter/solenoid. what happens when you turn the Key? Do you know for a fact that the battery is in good condition? have you had the cells checked? You may think the battery is good but a duff cell will prove otherwise.
