Car Prang
23 Answers
I woke up yesterday morning to the sound of a dull thud... (8:00 am) but thought no more about it until I went into my local chemist at lunch time to collect a prescription, came back out and saw - to my horror - a very large couple of dents on the passenger side of my lovely Fiat Bravo.... Now I now perfectly well that I was not in the car when those happened (I think I'd remember !) and it was only then that I recalled the noise at 8:00 am... doh ! The car drives ok, it just looks awful !
OK, my question is, what sort of place do I need to go to in order to get said *prangs* removed or pushed back into place.. I did try to use a 100mm dia dent puller but the prang was a bit too much for that device.. I just need to know what sort of place to get quotes from.... Thanks !

I thought I might as well ring up my insurance company, just to find out what I really should do, turns out not only do I have a protected no-claims bonus but also a guaranteed hire car.... so, car is being collected this afternoon to assess the damage and I get a nice little undented motor to borrow while it's being sorted out - I bet it's a Ford Ka haha.... My insurance company also told me that if the repairs are going to cost less than my excess, I can easily withdraw the claim and just pay it myself, otherwise they'd pay for the repair.
