auto gears change smoothly when dead cold but after a few minutes third goes in with aslight thump has any one had this ?

thanks for the tip .ive already changed the fluid with dextron 3 now ill try dextron 2 slightly thicker

manual says dex2 handbook says dex3 so ill try it anyway not a major fault car runs fine
