i have a white creamy substance on the inside of my oil cap on my vauxhall vectra sri theres no substance on the dipstick and the car drives sweet as a nut do i need to worry??..moisture maybe??

Moisture in the oil.

The engine is not getting warm enough to drive out the moisture created by combustion.

This is due to the cold weather, probably you doing a lot of short journeys, and just possibly the thermostat being worn out. If so, it is opening too early and letting water into the radiator before the engine is properly warm.
Needs an Italian Tune Up!!!
An "Italian" tune up would not help but PBs answer does.
