What happens to old model cars whem a new model is introduced? I've been looking for an old shape Fiesta either un-registered or just delivery miles but had no luck. They can't have all been sold before the new model launch, or can trhey?

Very rare for any old model stocks to be totally sold out.Bristol St Motor Nation seem to have old shape Fiesta on 58 reg - but annoying don't tell of mileage- try there.
Bear in mind Fleets buy Fiestas in huge quantities. So that Fiesta you wanted may now be a rental car or sporting a Motability Sticker in back window!

I know my local SMC Ford have got loads of old shape pre-reg Fiestas that they're offering big discounts on, so I should imagine quite a few of the big dealerships will have some. Might be worth visiting a few and seeing what they can offer?

You could also try ringing Ford Direct on 0845 020 5918; they might be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck!

Thanks for your answers, I will take up the suggestions. I don't mind travelling to a dealer, you have to for most things when you live in Cumbria!
