Camper Van troubles
3 Answers
Right then,
The van was stood over winter (5 months) and needed jump starting. it can run on both gas and petrol. anyway once it was started it ran ok and was taken on a little trip. After it was parked for 2hrs i started it again and found it to be 'chugging' the revs were inconsistant and it kept cutting out.
I have cleaned the carbaretta and run it on gas (thinking it could be the petrol. oxygen mix or the auto choke) and the same thing happens. The air filter appears to be clean........so i'm out of ideas.

soak a chammy leather ( real not synthetic. ) in petrol. then use it as a filter. i was told that it will only let petrol through so the water is separated out. never actually tried it myself, but if you have a lot of fuel in the tank it could save you a few quid.
