renault clio not starting

Hi i have a renault clio R reg. It wont start and there is no light what so ever on the dash board. It has done this before and when a merchanic came to see it he said i needed a new battery. I bought a new battery and the altenator has been checked and they both work fine. Something is draining the battery. I have no light in the boot or glove box and no sterio. What could be causing the car to not start?

could be your starter motor , have your battery leads checked fcr tighness ,and the starter checked for bad conections and the solonoid checked
