Hey guys and girls, im currently 16 years old and only a matter of weeks off of finishing school, i will be hopefully heading into an apprenticeship and earning a decent wage. I am looking into learning to ride a bike, and hopefully get a Honda NSR 125 (a magnificent starter bike) i realize that i will need to pass my CBT (compulsary basic training) then my theory, and when i am 17 i can legally ride a 125cc motorbike on L plates. However i would like to get the bike DE-Restricted which would double the BHP near enough. however im not sure how this would go down in terms of L plates and insurance, could anyone please tell me where i would stand and what i would have to do (if i am aloud) to DE-Restrict the Honda NSR 125. Also how much would the insurance be at 17 years old with a 125cc sports bike, many thanks.. Ross
