renault laguna

i have a reguna laguna 2004 - 2.2diesel. i have a serv light on the dash and i've been told that the fault code is: 88 pressure sensor circuit, has anyone any ideas what this means?

I'm guessing here but I believe the Laguna has a tyre pressure sensor which lets you know if there's a puncture/low pressure etc. I've heard reports that they can develop faults, so I'm guessing that this might be what's happened?
