Just out of curiosity re road tax.....
I was always under the impression that when you got 'done' it was technically for not displaying a tax disc, not for not being taxed. Now you can renew your tax disc on line it says that as soon as you have done it your car is taxed. Has the law changed now?

This exemption covers the first five working days of the month and allows time for the new disc to arrive in the post.
