well the windows stopped working. i checked the fuse and its fine. the windows uses the same fuse as the sun roof which is working fine. there was a fuse box in the interior and one under the bonnet. i checked both fuses and trhey were fine. what is the next step? i am thinking its a loose wire but have no idea where to look

Not much help but my old Peugeot's passenger window stopped working unless the driver door was fully open. Something to do with the wires near the door hinge. They were pretty messed up.

lol thanks dude. i dont think it will help much though. i need to find the relay for the windows and sunroof and check for loose wires but i dont know what i am looking for
in some cars all the windows go through a common switch block (the block of switches that you use to open the windows) , check the switch block has power to it and from it.

console? like a games console? i might have a blast on my nintendo wii. but it doesnt help the car situation :)
okay well that is what I was referring to, try shoving a game cartridge into the electrics, that always works for me

i prefer shoving something else in something different
most likely .your switch may be faulty. clip out your switch and test for power.if you have power coming in then replace the switch cheaply possibly 2nd hand
