Volvo 850 Air Con

The Air Con in my Volvo 850 2.0 20 Valve (1995) is playing up,I have had it regassed but it just blows cool, as i have never had a car with Air Con before how cold is it meant to blow,and might it need a service.

Correctly charged you can expect the air out of the vents to be really cool.
check your invoice if you have been charged below these guide capacities, chances are the system is not fully charged up or the pollen fliter may be very dirty.
1.refrigerant R134a approx-650 grams,
2.oil iso 46 approx-160 millilitre.
also if heaters contols are stuck you can experience poor cooling.

in theory the garage who gassed it should of checked the temp out of the vents.
Theres not much to service in an air con system, usually its down to replacing specific parts, and some can be mega expensive, pumps in particular.
