my car was serviced today, but now making a funny sound is that normal- mechanic said it should settle down as the spark plugs etc have been changed and oil/air filters have been changed, and the car needs to get used to it. is he right? any budding mechanics out there that have an answer
the car sounds juddery, it sounds and behaves like its about to stall on me, i drove to work today and it kept juddering, the garage said it hasnt been serviced for nearly 4 years and just needs to get used to the new oil, im not convinced, im gonna wait aday or two and if its still like that im going back to them to sort it, im ballistic at the moment, god help the mechanic that did my car when i c him
Hi Suzie, if you know about how to check the oil, ( I'm not been Sexist here) do you know how to check the plug leads? if so check the connections I think you will find one of the leads has not been pushed all the way home. there is either a DUFF PLUG amongst the new or what I have stated.
car has been looked at again and it was the air filter, it wasnt on properly. thanks for all your help people, ur a reassuring lot!!! car is driving like new like before, its a fairly new car with only 38000miles on the clock, so i wud have been dissapointed if there was sumat major wrong with it, the mechanic said sorry and he blamed his trainee, who serviced the car.x
