ive broken down and there is no power at all,not even hazards,any ideas
prev lighter socket not working
  
next strange nois in car...sounds like an animal scrabbling around!

check your battery terminals

Battery lead disconnected or broken somewhere. Check both positive and earth leads. Battery could be completely knackered but I would not expect it to go so suddenly. Check battery connections are clean and tight.
