Is anyone else experiencing an increase in this phenomenon? I travel on the A1 motorway every day to work and over the past 6 months or so I seem to be tailgated all the time, and even undertaken regularly. Drivers always seem to be in such a hurry now. Its not like I'm crawling along, but maybe my mistake is to stick to the speed limit.... The thing I've noticed recently is that there seems to be an increase in the number of female drivers doing it. Usually in their 4-wheel drives. Why does everyone have to be agressive on the road? Tip for all you tailgaters out there - it won't make me speed up, I'm more likely to slow down.
yes i get tailgated a lot when travelling on dark, bendy country lanes...it infurites me, because they invariably have their highbeams on which shines brightly into all 3 of my mirrors...meaning i cant see properly and i have no choice but to actually slow down!
they believe their actions will make me speed up, but when on such a bendy dark road, how can i?
why dont people realiise that without street lights, a light in your eyes renders you blind.
"<b>I seem to be tailgated all the time, and even undertaken regularly</b>" Are you in the habbit of hogging the centre lane? If so, that could be the answer. No one should feel pressured to drive above the speed limit.
