TWR i had to bring my battery in to charge at new year cos of the sub zero temps and needing to get to work early doors. Someone on here said i would need the code for my radio after that, if I still have the box the radio came in, and all the instruction books in all 4 languages, (it's a Kenwood from halfords) will the code be somewhere in there? the box is in the back of the kitchen cupboard somewhere.
I can remember you battery prob Dot, if the radio was bought from Hal fords the code should either be o a label within the box or within the Instruction Book, If not a trip or phone call to their store on Longridge Rd NR the Prison( Is that where you got it? Pussy, just think of yourself just been bought a Xmas present costing approx £150> £200 for an expensive car audio, you get it installed at a cost with a radio code the same night you forget to remove the Fascia, next morning the radio has been stolen you go onto sites like AB and see a request for a radio code that resembles the one you have had stolen! have I any need to say anymore?

Pussy, I am not implying that the requests are Suspicious but when request come with the full spec of the radio including the Serial, Model, make & all the info I get warning bells, Even the likes of EBay with radios for sale, the biggest place for stolen radios are car boot sales, I used to help in this area that is until someone stole my wife's NEW radio out of her car my help in that department ceased.

If requested stupid idiotic answers mdoo I would have asked, with your answer do you condone the requesting of radio codes? I don't think the post I put on implied that the people requesting codes where thieves, neither did I say anything to offend people with what I posted. put yourself in a young persons position, It could be your son or daughter that has not got a lot of money but just received a expensive radio that you / someone has bought for him/her then some thieving basds takes it out of his/her car comes on a site like this to try & get the code! if you find this funny well what can people say, I think your previous answer Say's it all. ( No offence meant by my reply) but think about it.
Hi Ed, thanks for the reply, you are aware of many posts on here that are against AB rules, you are also aware of the amount of things in general that get stolen & where they end up for either a quick sale or someone that has saved up money to buy an item only to find the item has been stolen, a lot of items on the go with codes are expensive radios, the point If I may, of late there are one hell of a lot of requests on you site with ALL THE DETAILS regarding radios, I understand that you cannot monitor every post that comes on here & I know YOU could stop by your letters, to give out a polite request that from such a date ALL radio code requests will be removed because of the increase in radio thefts. If I am wrong in my thinking, please put me right.
