I've ordered a set of Splitfire HT leads for my Mk2 Mondeo. Anyone used them ? Any opinions ?

Thanks.

Shouldn't you have asked that before you ordered them?
Personally, I think they are a waste of money.
Ford or Motorcraft leads would have been the best.
You'll have too many leads. The Spitfire had a V-12 Merlin engine. ( Unless your Mondeo has been rather heavily modified.)

Rojash, I have done some research on these leads and the reports seems pretty good but I thought I would get some more contributions from ABers with something useful to say - and you aren't one of them.

Albags. You are probably right but My Ford agent doesn't sell them in sets, only singly at over £20 per lead ! And I couldn't find any Motorcraft ones anywhere.

Graham. Nice one, mate. Tell me where you are and I'll do a fly-past, so if you look up I'll give you a wave from the old Mondy !
You can order Motorcraft sets at your dealers.
Ford ones are dear, yes ... and individual.
i used to work in a Ford dealer and we stocked Motorcraft lead kits, sold loads of Zetec ones, a common problem often the result of fitting non-genuine leads.
