My car is registered in my dads name, he doesnt drive it at all, so my insurance is only in my name for the car - his insurance states that he can drive any car though, when renewing my car tax, does his name have to be on my insurance certificate before they will accept it??

Thanks

as long as your insured on the car ( the reg number is shown on your insurance cert.) it should be ok, although some places where you take it to be taxed can be more picky than others.
