ELLO MY FORD FOCUS ZETEC W REG 1.8 RUNS OUT OF FUEL BEFORE THE NEEDLE EVEN GETS TO THE FIRST WHITE DASH NEVER MIND TH E ....ANY IDEAS????? ALSO ALL THE DOORS WILL LOCK WHILST DRIVING NOW AND THEN ON THERE OWN???..CHEERS,WAYNE

So it has a bent arm on the fuel sender in the tank .. This may have been done during component change. Either take the assy out and bend the arm DOWN some. Load the sender and level the car. Check reading again. Do this with a KNOWN quantity in the tank to calibrate.
Or buy another sender.
Probably damp/water in the A frame connection blocks (in the door openings) Try driver and passenger sides first. If no good you may have dodgy door loom. Take a close look at the Driver's door loom first.
