how can itax my car online


i cant find logbook or reminder

the car is insured . i rnag the dvla and they said i nned the code of the reminder and would not give me the code over the phone

You can't tax it then

You need the log book at the very least to tax a car
If it is insured it will be in the dvla records
No it won't.
It will be on the National Insurance Database .. that's all.
DVLA just access it along many other people.!
Have you got old reminder forms? I'm not sure if the code will be the same but try it.
It's on the DVLA web page. http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/

If you don't have your reminder from DVLA, then you will need the vehicle reg no and the document reference number off the log book. If you haven't got that then you can't do it on-line.
