Mist on inside of windows

Hey,
Almost as soon as I get in my car atm I get mist on the inside of the windows...
This is a very girly thing to say, but... What is the best setting for the blowers to get it gone quick and for it to stay off???

Make sure the air recirculation button is not pressed, as that will lead to bad misting up.

Also check under your mats to see if the carpets are damp.
If you have a leak, the inside of the car will be moist all the time.

oops sorry -didnt mean to touch a raw nerve but its not 'girly' to ask the question its just normal.From a 'girly' who would assume it had happened before you had asked the question and didnt remain stationary before asking on here:)

DRIS... The car misted and I demisted it but I thought 'When I get home I am going to find out what is a better way of demisting than using a demisting cloth which leaves bits of fluff over the screen'... Perhaps next time I ask a question on here I will write an essay about exactly what I have done beforehand so that I do not get people suggesting I am a dangerous driver and so on...

Boy I wish people were just polite and answered the questions these days instead of making some kind of POINT...

I wouldnt have gone for the 'girly' approach thats all-it was totally irrelevant to your question-.doesnt do any of us any favours to be honest with this crew:)
I blast with the aircon and its sorted when ever I am ready to go.I also have a chamois cloth if desperately needed.

You can get anti-mist spray. In the old days they used a very light wipe over with a potato! It works. So does a very light wipe/polish with shampoo!
Ignore that girl .. the 7 is just her age (or bra size)

Hi Raelgrin,

I keep a clean dry hand towel in the car and I use that in the mornings to wipe the inside of the windscreen. That removes almost all the moisture - enough to drive the car straight away - and setting the heater to demist to blow on the windscreen then keeps it clear.

It's a good idea to keep several old hand towels for the car - drying after washing, cleaning the windows and windscreen etc. You can keep them clean by just throwing them in with other towels whenever you do a wash. Hope that helps.
