I've heard some horror stories. They apparently make you and off that seems plausible but when you take the car to them they go over it knocking cash off until what they finally offer bares noo relation to their initial valuation.

You'll get a lot more selling it privately but that's more hassle.

Hi RIGezzer, it was out of interest that I put this post in, there would be no way that I would sell or even deal with the likes of people like this.
No, but I have had many quotes from them, and the best I can get out of them for any car is a quote of £50. Not enough I am afraid.

if anyone on here is thinking of getting rid of their car & thinking about this rip off merchant, go onto EBay & sell it for spares or repair buyer to collect, you will get far more for it
Depends what you are selling, but I got more for mine selling it to a franchised dealer who took it in as used stock....
Webuyanycar are part of the Car Craft group, I've bought cars at auction and the seller is listed as CC Sales, they're just trawling looking for good late cars they can buy for next to nothing and sell at over inflated prices in their showrooms, the stuff at auction is just older cars they've bought for a song but still make a few quid on, there's a shortage of quality small economical cars and this is Car Crafts way of keeping their stock levels up.
