If you can visualize any possibility that you may have a drink and still consider driving - Forget it!
On the other hand, your employment opportunities and your social life may be seriously impaired by not having a full driving licence. I would recommend you do it mate.

It CAN be dangerous.....it depends on who is around at the time you're driving, assuming YOU are sticking to the law...you just have to decide if you wanna do it - as sigma says - dont do it for someone else (unless its their dying wish!!)
